Creative Adventure 1 Wrap Up!

Wow, you guys! I know I speak for the whole CCB team when I tell you how blown away we are by the amazing projects you all have shared with us this month, and your stories of trying something, artistically, that you've never done before. Did you enjoy venturing beyond the familiar and exploring a new technique?

As we roll into March, we're excited to announce that we're opening the virtual doors to the Creative Carte Blanche Community Facebook Group! This will give us all the opportunity to share inspiration and encouragement on the spot, and the entire CCB team is looking forward to having a more personal connection with our participants. C'mon over and join the fun!

Also, we now have a Pinterest Board where we're sharing your wonderful art with the world. Yay, technology!

As for my own Creative Adventure this month, I decided to try my hand at custom-foiled fabric using Therm-O-Web's Deco Foil and an inexpensive cotton scarf. It was SO MUCH fun and such an easy project, that I may just end up foiling every piece of clothing I own! Here's a sneak peek at the kerchief I made for my pot-belly pig. Hop over to my blog, Studio L3, to learn how (and see Miss Violet looking foiled and fabulous).

Our first Creative Adventure is drawing to a close, but we have a wonderful new one ready to share this coming Friday, with the brilliant Candy Colwell hosting. Thanks for being part of the journey!
