Art Adventure for April ~ Cigar Memory Box

Okay, I have to confess.  I was a bit flummoxed when Annette called the Creative Adventure for us this time.  Adventure?  Yes.  I just came up blank and didn't know what I'd do with this one.  AND!!!  Where was I going get a cigar box?

I posted a request on a community Facebook page asking if anyone had a cigar box I could buy or have.  A sweet girl responded who happened to be my daughter's best friend.  She had one that had belonged to her father and she said I could have it.  I felt humbled and honored and I knew just what to do.

***NOTE***
If you don't have and can't find a cigar box, please feel free to improvise!   Use another box OR make your own box, put a cigar in it and call it a cigar box!  If you don't have a cigar, roll up some card stock, burn the end of it and its a cigar.  (Ha!  Just kidding about the cigar stuff.)

REMEMBER - You have carte blanche!!

Check out the rest of the story and see what I did with it on my blog.  This became something important and meaningful to me.

And thanks for the challenge, Annette.  You are a wise and wonderful woman and I am a grumpy pants.
