Wildly Colorful Creative Adventure

Hi everyone, it's Annette Green here today with my take on Cheryl Grigsby's challenge for May, where she asks us to create something with Wood, A Word, and Something Wild. I absolutely loved Candy Colwell's miniature cabinet filled with all those sweet little nature pieces, bird books, and miniature cage! Be sure to check it out in the previous post when you get a chance.

Up until the moment I started painting my wooden plaque, I had no idea where I was going with this project. This is what I love about the creative process. If you simply relax and play without plans or expectations, things seem to fall into place. I made some decisions along the way I wasn't happy with, but simply fixed them with paint or covered them with ribbon. No stress. I thoroughly enjoyed creating this little plaque and I'm happy to share my steps with you on my blog. I hope you'll join me there to check it out.

Then come back here and join in the fun! We'd love to see what you come up with for this creative adventure. You can upload yours at the main challenge post here, using the InLinkz at the bottom. Have fun and enjoy the creative process!
